David Daly, Managing Director
David is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and testifying expert witness, bringing extensive commercial experience in dispute avoidance, management and resolution to sectors including healthcare, residential, offices, insurance and energy across both domestic and international markets.
David has been appointed as a quantum expert witness over 80 times and has contributed to several high-profile cases, including (i) the first ever fully remote trial in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC) in May 2020 (ii) the first ever Building Liability Order granted under the Building Safety Act (2022) in December 2024 and (iii) the widely reported moth infestation case of Horbury Villa in Notting Hill in February 2025.

Asa Southgate, Director
Asa is a quantity surveyor and commercial manager with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He started his career as an apprentice at a leading M&E contractor with our director David Daly. Asa has commercially managed many multi million pound projects across London and the UK for main contractors, subcontractors and specialist subsubcontractors in a range of sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare, high rise office blocks, sports stadia, residential developments and hotels.
In addition to his domestic experience, Asa was a commercial manager at a large switchgear supplier and subcontractor in Dubai. In that time, Asa worked on many mega projects throughout the Gulf region including the Dubai Terminal 3 project, the largest M&E project in the world at the time. Asa currently applies his experience of disputes and commercial management to help our clients successfully deliver their projects.

Paul Gill, Operations Director
Paul is a Quantity Surveyor and testified Quantum Expert with nearly 30 years’ of experience working on commissions in the UK, Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain & Kuwait), Australia, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Paul specialises in the preparation of expert witness reports, contractual claims (prolongation, disruption, etc.), and arbitral submissions, including supporting principles of entitlement, counterclaims and defence, reviews of contractual obligations and the analysis of construction programmes.

Darragh McGreevy, Senior consultant
Darragh is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with substantial experience acquired across a variety of sectors and regions. Since gaining his degree in 1998, Darragh has worked at all levels of the supply chain from specialist subcontractors, Tier 1 main contractors to developers, both domestically and internationally.
Darragh joined Novus Resolve in 2023 to apply his extensive experience to the field of dispute resolution and expert witness services.
