With offices in London and Ireland, Novus Resolve provides commercial management, dispute avoidance and expert witness services to the built environment. Our professionals have been involved in some of the largest and most complex projects in the world. As well as our general construction expertise, the team has experience on projects in the pharmaceutical and energy sectors.

We help you identify potential problems early on and advise on how to avoid, manage or resolve any conflict you encounter. Our goal is to help you a successful resolution.

There are times however, when disputes cannot be avoided. These may ultimately end up before a tribunal for final determination. Where this happens, Novus Resolve can provide you and your legal teams with the pragmatic, expert advice to ensure the best possible outcome.

David Daly, Director

David is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and testifying expert witness with a wide breadth of commercial experience. He is experienced in dispute avoidance, management and resolution within various sectors. These include healthcare, residential, offices, insurance and energy (onshore and offshore).

An accredited expert witness and member of the Academy of Experts, David has been appointed as quantum expert on various occasions. Appointments include adjudications, international arbitration and the English High Court amongst others. David has been cross-examined on his expert evidence in international arbitration, the Technology and Construction Court, the Central London County Court and has also given oral evidence in adjudication hearings and mediations.

Asa Southgate 018 BW Online

Asa Southgate, Director

Asa is a quantity surveyor and commercial manager with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He started his career as an apprentice at a leading M&E contractor with our director David Daly. Asa has commercially managed many multi million pound projects across London and the UK for main contractors, subcontractors and specialist subsubcontractors in a range of sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare, high rise office blocks, sports stadia, residential developments and hotels.

In addition to his domestic experience, Asa was a commercial manager at a large switchgear supplier and subcontractor in Dubai. In that time, Asa worked on many mega projects throughout the Gulf region including the Dubai Terminal 3 project, the largest M&E project in the world at the time. Asa currently applies his experience of disputes and commercial management to help our clients successfully deliver their projects.

Darragh Mc Greevy BW

Darragh McGreevy, Senior consultant

Darragh is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with substantial experience acquired across a variety of sectors and regions. Since gaining his degree in 1998, Darragh has worked at all levels of the supply chain from specialist subcontractors, Tier 1 main contractors to developers, both domestically and internationally.

Darragh joined Novus Resolve in 2023 to apply his extensive experience to the field of dispute resolution and expert witness services.

Tom Wylie

Tom Wylie, Senior consultant

Tom is an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in the construction industry across numerous sectors including residential, commercial and education.

Tom possesses an extensive skillset covering the cost management of construction projects from inception to completion, including performing the roles of Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent with recent project experience ranging between £1m and £40m.

Tom has more recently ventured into the field of dispute resolution where he has been providing assistance to David Daly on a number of expert commissions, including a matter heard in the Central London County Court in October 2021.

Ryan Coyle, Senior consultant

Ryan is an accomplished commercial, contracts and legal consultant. He has a wide range of experience gained in the UK, Europe, the USA, the Middle East, Africa and Indonesia. This experience has been acquired across commercial/contract management, legal, dispute avoidance and resolution roles. Ryan’s experience, includes offshore and onshore pipelines, offshore wind farms and oil/gas facilities.

Ryan joined Novus Resolve in the summer of 2019. He uses his legal qualifications and practical site/shipyard experience to resolve and manage construction and energy disputes.
