Neil Forte, Director | Dispute resolution and expert services
Neil is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Quantum Expert Witness and Adjudicator with over 20 years’ experience. He provides dispute avoidance, management and resolution services across a broad range of sectors including residential, infrastructure, rail, energy, healthcare, commercial and education projects, working with clients across the UK and internationally.
Neil has been appointed on over 500 occasions as a Quantum Expert Witness (lead and assisting), Adjudicator, Arbitrator and dispute resolver. He regularly prepares expert reports and advises on complex disputes alongside leading solicitors and barristers and is an RICS Registered Expert Witness, a Fellow of several professional institutions and a panel-appointed adjudicator and arbitrator with RICS, CIArb, CIC and Hunt ADR.
Accreditations
He is regularly involved in the preparation of Expert Reports and dispute management with leading Solicitors, Barristers, Sub-Contractors, Main Contractors, Developers, Client Teams, Local Authorities and Consultants amongst others.
A member of the RICS Construction Professional Group Panel and a panel registered Adjudicator at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the Construction Industry Council (CIC), UK Adjudicators and Hunt ADR.
A panel registered Arbitrator at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators for the Business Arbitration Scheme and Hunt ADR. He has also undergone the examiner training at the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors. Neil is a member of The Society of Construction Law and The Adjudication Society.
